Education
I attended Chapman University and studied film production before transferring to Western Washington University where I earned a BA in English Literature. I also have a Master's Degree in Student Affairs & Higher Education from Colorado State University.
Background
I have worked for a variety of colleges and universities across the country, primarily serving within residential life offices. After a year working with ResLife here at Bowdoin, I moved over into the Office of the Dean of Students. Outside of higher education, I directed a summer camp on Orcas Island in Washington state, worked at Disneyland, and traveled around the world with Semester at Sea. I absolutely love Maine (and sea kayaking!) and am always looking for new adventures with my spouse, two young girls, and Rosie the Goldendoodle. Additionally, my favorite animal is a polar bear - which is convenient.
